If you are looking for a community or group of friends to call your own, look no further. University Church has a small group of college friends who come together every Tuesday to play pool, trivia, video games, poker nights, and hang out.
Small Group Bible Study meets every Thursday at 7:30 PM
Hangout nights are every Tuesday at 7:30 PM in Paloma apartments.
Weekend Events or High Adventure trips may occur 2 to 3 times a semester!
Events normally run during the Kent State University Fall and Spring semesters while school is in session, but we do meet outside of our regular times for impromptu events. Keep an eye out on Instagram for event reminders or email Marketing@kentprez.org for more info. We also have a GroupMe to stay in touch and connect with the student community.
Young Adults
Are you a young adult who recently graduated college, started a master’s program / PHD, or are early in your career? If you answered yes to any of these, or you are older but feel young at heart, we want to get to know you! Come join us Young Adults for Theology Tap, game nights, or hangouts and talk about life! We schedule activities based on your busy life!

Women
Come join the women of the church who meet for Circle Meetings. Here, we discuss Bible lessons from “Horizons” Magazine. We participate in several mission projects through the year including: Hartville mission welcome bags, school supplies, Easter baskets for Kent Social Services, and donating financial support to two or three local missions. Each year we get to sponsor a Christmas meal with Skeels Community and hold a salad supper at the end of the year where they elect new years officers.

Men
From gray hair to no hair to a full head of hair, University Church men want to welcome you to breakfast every Saturday morning. Here, we have friendly conversations about everything you can think of. This is a great way to start your weekend or get your husband out of the house and out of your hair for a while.

Discipleship
If you are looking for a more traditional church event, we want to invite you to our Thursday dinners, where we have an active discussion about different topics of faith, host chili cook-offs, and fun activities.
Also, join us for an adult church bible study after worship service and coffee hour on Sundays. Our adult Sunday School is led by the friendly, suspenders-wearing, John Graves as we work through the Bible and many topics that affect our everyday Christian lives.
