Children, make sure to tell your parents about University Church. Let them know about how here we have fun activities for children, Sunday School to learn about stories from the Bible while playing games, making crafts, enjoying snacks, and taking part in interactive storytelling. Also, make sure to let your parents know that we have a space for children during Sunday worship so that your parents can enjoy the Sunday Service while you enjoy fun games and children’s movies that your parents watched when they were your age.
Youth, come join a group of friends for authentic and fun community, practical teaching, and small group conversation. When your parents drop you off for youth group, prepare yourselves for Nerf War challenges, Sardines, and Nintendo Switch Gangbeast competitions.

If you are looking for a community or group of friends to call your own, look no further. University Church has a small group of college friends that come together every Monday for fellowship and every Wednesday to play pool, trivia, poker nights, and hang out.

Are you in college or a young adult? If you answered yes to either of these, or you are older but feel young at heart, we want to get to know you! Come join us Monday nights for fellowship or Thursday nights for a beer. When we are not at our weekly Bible Study or grabbing a drink with friends, we like to travel, go on weekend camping trips, and just hang out.

Come join the women of the church who meet for Circle Meetings. Here, we discuss Bible lessons from “Horizons” Magazine. We participate in several mission projects through the year including: Hartville mission welcome bags, school supplies, Easter baskets for Kent Social Services, and donating financial support to two or three local missions. Each year we get to sponsor a Christmas meal with Skeels Community and hold a salad supper at the end of the year where they elect new years officers.

From gray hair to no hair to a full head of hair, University Church men want to welcome you to breakfast every Saturday morning. Here, we have friendly conversations about everything you can think of. This is a great way to start your weekend or get your husband out of the house and out of your hair for awhile.

If you are looking for a more traditional church event to join, we want to invite you to our Thursday congregational dinners and our adult Sunday School. All are welcome to come to free Thursday dinners where we have an active discussion about different prayer styles, host chili cook-offs, and have white elephant gift exchanges. During our adult Sunday School, we are led by the friendly, suspender wearing, John Graves as we work through the Bible.
