May is upon us.  Various shades of green are emerging around us, and the rains continue to fuel one of the most beautiful landscapes in Ohio.  I hope you take time to enjoy both the rain and new vegetation.

Over the past few weeks we enjoyed many different voices in worship.  Colton Snyder and Kolya Korestkyy preached.  Nathan Long will preach for us this Sunday.  Festus and Linda brought their larger family and friends to sing and celebrate the dedication of Linda’s daughter – Graciella Lupaul Alomba.  In the Cameroonian Presbyterian Tradition, Graciella is first dedicated, as we celebrated, then is baptized a few months later.  We look forward to celebrating God’s work in Graciella’s life through her baptism in a few months!

This month we will have a new opportunity as well.  On May 20th we will volunteer with Habitat for Humanity as workers.  The house being built is part of the Apostle Build Program in Portage County.  Churches in our county are gathering together to build this home on Summit Road.  You will receive an email with further details, and announcements will continue in worship.  You can check out Habitat for Humanity of Portage County here: https://www.habitatofportage.org/

I hope this finds each of you well.  May God bless you as you continue your work in the Resurrection Life of Jesus Christ.
